ON THE JOB TRAINING
Through On the Job Training, businesses may be reimbursed up to 100% of the new employee’s wages while they are in training. The OJT program is a “hire-first” program in which the employer enters into an agreement with Career Focus Inc. to hire, train, and retain an individual upon successful completion of the training program.

SELF EMPLOYMENT
The supported self-employment process combines person-centered planning strategies with the development of a business plan. The goal of the planning process is to develop an individualized, profitable, and sustainable microenterprise. This process focuses on the talents, interests, and assets of the customer. For many customers with disabilities, including customers who need ongoing support throughout individual careers, supported self-employment is a viable option to meet the customer's employment needs.

YOUTH SERVICES
Career Focus Inc.’s services for young people aged 14 to 21 supports transition between school and employment. The program includes vocational workshops, one-on-one employment preparation meetings, one-on-one job development, job coaching, job retention workshops and on-the-job training placements. Participants learn about self-advocacy as well as how to disclose to employers, build communication skills, maintain a work-life balance and gain workplace etiquette skills.

PRE-PLACEMENT TRAINING
Pre-placement Training is an optional service that may be delivered in conjunction with providing other Employment Services.
